I'm a little shocked by this projector as I really didn't expect such high quality. For the price, I was actually hoping to return it. But ... This projector is awesome.
The setup is incredibly easy and only takes one step for screen detection, and this is where the projector really shines. I have an 80 inch screen on a tripod and it found all the corners and properly squared up the screen within seconds with no loss of quality. I had to keystone one corner very slightly, otherwise it was brilliant. The focus was bang on.
The 4k picture quality was incredible and the up-sampling of my 1080p content on my Plex server literally took my breath away. You'll need to try different color settings as I find the projector leans towards red, but that can be easily dialed in.
The speakers really surprised me. They are loud and the Dolby surround actually filled the room, it was difficult to hear that the sound came from the projector in front of us when it sounded as though it was filling the room. The speakers are extremely well tuned, and the sound is so good that I no longer needed my portable speaker.
Yes this projector is expensive, but for a lifestyle projector, it's incredible. You can move it from room to room and it looks and sounds great.
For me, it was worth the money, and I'm very pleased with this purchase.
