I bought this last week. There is no way that I can position this thing that the bottom nodes do anything but barely tickle my shoulders and the top nodes do nothing but squeeze and bruise my neck without making contact with any sore muscles. And that's if it does anything at all. And I'm someone who really prefers a deep massage. No matter how you position it, it either does nothing at all or is downright injurious.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was a gift. So far seems to work well. Will come to use. Had some issues with charging the device. Red light did not turn green.
