I bought this a few weeks ago and I am exceedingly pleased with it's performance. I have not used the vacuum/mulcher option yet. It was on sale and even at regular price, it is a great deal. It is corded and therefore, no battery recharging and it has plenty of CFM of air flow.
It is the greatest.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just love this blower/vac/mulcher. Perfect for when the leaves fall. Just mulch them up unzip the bag. So quick and easy.

Powerful, Useful, But...

Does a good job of blowing/vacuuming leaves - so much so that we moved this sucker (pun intended) from our full-on forest location in the eastern US to Ca and then to Wa. However...we CANNOT get the debris bag off of this thing. Have tried brute force, Water-Displacement lubricant (you know the one), etc. and no luck. So now it is just a goof vacuum, not a good blower. Would that B&D could redesign the cheap plastic "push button" release so that it won't stick! Could earn them 2 more stars!

I have been using B & D leaf mulchers for 8 years.
The first unit lasted 5 years.
Second unit lasted two years, stopped blowing and vacuum.
Third unit has a short and keeps turning off and on.

What do I do to get fixed.

'When all else fails, read the instructions'. My Dad used to say that all the time. Yes, it helps in this case too. All parts simply pop-together & if done correctly, will run perfectly every time. This household electric vacuum cleaner & leaf blower is great inside the home as well. Actually, that's the plan. To use it inside. Will do a fantastic job all over my apartment, mostly fighting dust. This gizmo is just what I needed. Especially for my dusty ceiling fans & the ceiling itself, scattered near the fan. Should've got this vacuum years ago. Long overdue. A welcome addition to my electric tools. Thank you!
