Fantastic integration

Not only is this a great camera it fully integrated into my existing Lorex NVR system via the Lorex Cloud app I had been using. I now have a single view of my wired IP cameras and this 2K PTZ camera. No need for two apps or a separate service to gain a holistic view of all cameras. Well done Lorex!

Replaced a Lorex 1080P indoor Wifi camera. Definitely better quality picture and video. The setup and reliability is the same as the older model. Can't wait until the 4K wifi camera comes out. I will replace the outdoor Lorex camera.

Good camera

Good camera. Sometimes it doesn't seem to follow as you walk across in the line of sight of the camera. Something that's kind of annoying, is when watching the recording, you hear the loud sound of the camera gears from when the camera moved.
Also, when zooming in, the resolution gets pretty blurry.
I like that you can unplug the power from the wall then move camera to another room, like your child's room when needed and the pan, tilt, zoom is real good. Pretty much a full 360° on the panning.
Over all, pretty good camera.

Awesome camera!

I live in an apartment and wanted a camera that could both watch my home but also my vehicle outside since I have street parking and it does so wonderfully even though I am on the second floor. I also like that it is local storage with how creative hackers can be- now I just need to figure out how to clear the SD cards once they’re full 😂 planning on buying a second when I have more money to spare!

Great Standalone (or system) Camera

We needed something to keep tabs on a new dog in the house. This was an economical, yet powerful solution to do so.
The imaging is very good, with a fair amount of detail available when (digitally) zooming in. The night vision, while not really needed in our application, was a nice surprise and permits a reasonable infrared view in total darkness.
What really makes this camera shine is the app toolset. The camera is capable of identifying and tracking motion, as well as alerting you that motion (or a loud noise) was detected.
If there were any wish list with this camera, there's two: First, I wish I had a simple wall bracket for mounting. To get a useful, commanding view, you need to hang this camera (upside-down, there's an option to flip the image). It does not tilt down far enough when just set on a high perch. Second, I wish the persistence time when tracking motion were adjustable, or at least a little longer. Often, a motion "target" is followed, but once it stops, the camera snaps back to its preset position, leaving the area of interest out of the field of view.
Overall, this camera offers a great value with a good set of features and performance. Best of all, it's not tied to a subscription (and hoping it stays this way).

Works perfect

Works great, even is recognized by and works with my old 2k NVR 16 channel system. Only 2 things could be better would be the tracking feature, but it does a pretty good job doing that. They other would make it perfect for me if it were able to use outside. It also picks up sounds good and can send a message of that, and of course if it picks up motion. Oh yes the night vision is really good a lot better then I was expecting. Actually it is excellent. With little to no light.
