Great indoor camera

Bought 4 of these to attach to a Lorex Fusion NVR. Worked like a champ out of box. Installation was quite easy. Image quality is pretty good, even at 2K resolution, and love the panning feature.

Thus far the camera seems to be working well. The setup was fast and easy and the camera itself is functioning as advertised. I am still having some difficulty understand how to get the captured video/pictures off the sd card and onto my PC in a format that is viewable. I have not been able to find any simple directions to perform this task. Am considering adding more cameras but will not until the video can be downloaded in a useable form.

I have 2 but 1 continuously goes offline and requires going thru troubleshooting. It comes back online but will go offline in a day or 2. Will remove and reboot but its a bit of a pain when I am on vacation.

Not the best indoor camera :(

I bought this camera to use indoors to be able to watch my pets. The camera is nice and clear, but it does not have the capability of being set on a countertop and aim at the floor to see my pets. The counter is too high for the camera to move down without being blocked by the edge of the counter itself...unless you place it at the edge of the counter, which I do not want to do for obvious reasons. We were forced to have to mount it on the wall, which I did not want to do. In addition, the manually pan feature is very sluggish. Cost-wise, this camera is twice as expensive as others like it on the market. I bought this one only because we already have the Lorex exterior cameras, and we were wanting to keep everything all on one app. Not sure if it is worth it though, due to the lack of features, flexibility and the price. I might just return it and go with another brand.

Good but could be better

The camera itself is very good and the installation process is fairly simple. The software to control the camera needs improvement.
I bought 4 of these cameras and control them with the Lorex Home app on my Android phone. The cameras show up individually on the device list and in order to turn on privacy mode, you have to activate it for each camera individually. I need to be able to group these cameras together and control privacy mode with one action for the entire group. This prevents me from installing one of these in each room.
Also, we had a short power outage during a storm that knocked all 4 cameras offline. When the power came back on and wifi router came back up, everything in our house recovered including Simplisafe and Smart Things, but these 4 cameras were offline and had to be reset individually which turned into quite a hassle. Another reason NOT to have more than one or two of these. I would rather use wired IP cameras indoors but I want privacy mode when I am at home and this camera appears to be the only product Lorex offers that has it.
I'm hoping the app will be improved to make these cameras more useful in the future.
