Arrow T501 - not good!

I bought this because of the variety of fasteners it can handle... figured it was worth the higher price. Well, I was wrong.
I am using new Arrow brand staples (1/4" & 3/8") and this thing starts jamming as soon as you get down to the last inch or so of staples. The staples look fine after I take the unused ones out, so they are not the problem. One of the pics show the results after using one "row" of staples. The other pic shows how the bed that the staples sits on is uneven. I don't know if this the way it is supposed to be or not. I'm definitely not very happy with this model!

Used for vapour barrier and insulation in areas where being precise is required

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stapler works exactly as expected. Smooth action when in tighter areas as to not insert staple in incorrect position. The only draw back I have experienced is after long term usage the sprung staple retainer tends to be very easily dislodged and falls out. However, with a little bit of tape to secure it, the stapler never seems to fail.
