[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my 501 mostly in outdoor activities hanging targets, so it has not been the direct rain, but has been out in the southern humidity a lot. I finally left it at my last location and had to purchase a new one to staple some insulation into the eaves of a shed. There has been much improvement since my last stapler. The padded handle makes it easier to put a lot of pressure on the handle for very hard wood to put in into. My old stapler had a latch on the back and you slid the staples into the stapler, this design with the squeeze latch and open the bottom is so much easier, I can't loose the rod that holds the staples in. Also with this method when I have a broken group of staples I can lay them in and close the stapler.

Good for attaching weather stripp
