I purchased this product, wanting to start replacing my existing plugin equipment. I am very disappointed with the power of this 40v product, when I compare this to my existing equipment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My old one had a chord and constantly getting annoyed with it. This 40v battery operated one is light, efficient and amazing. Cleans all the leaves out of my rocks and leave the yard looking nice

I purchased this 9 years ago to clean up my stone landscaping. It works great. I use this weekly. I just had to replace the battery for the first time. It has served me well. It can blow and vacuum, but this one I just use for the vacuum feature.

Excellent Sweeper/Vacuum

I have owned this sweeper/blower/Vacuum for over two years. It has worked flawlessly. It is very strong as both a blower and as a vacuum. It is very easy to use and to carry around.
This is one of several 40v products that I own. My only problem with any of these 40v products is that two battery units have failed (I have had at least 6 products with 40v batteries, and I bought two extra batteries, when on sale).
It would be nice if B&D added a telescoping 40v tree-limb pruning saw.

I like the fact that it is convenient and easily for me to use. The power is adjustable for me to blow leaves against the curve of the driveway. I have a more powerful one with an electric cord. It is harder for me to achieve. This is a great additional tool to accomplish my tasks.

My main purpose for purchasing the tool was for the vacuum. It is lightweight and allows me to get to areas that would require me to use several cords for my electric vacuum. It suctioned up all the small leaves from the edges of my grass and the driveway. I didn't think it would suction up the acorns, since even my larger electric vacuum can't get those. The battery lasted long enough, but I wish I had 2 of them. I am satisfied with my purchase.
