Not for ceiling tile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stapler is nice and works well. However, we were trying to staple ceiling tile and could not get the stapler on the flange close enough to the edge of the tiles.
Pros: ceiling tile

Often a forward-action manual staple gun like the PowerShot 5700 is a better option for this type of project (https://www.arrowfastener.com/projects/ceiling-tiles/). The PowerShot 5700 can fire 17/32-inch T50 staples, which were designed for ceiling tile installations. This tool also does not have a contact safety like the T50ACD, which can be more challenging to engage when working with softer materials. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool to put up insulation in my garage. I was able to insulate the whole thing in one weekend. I pumped 2500 staples through it and dropped it from a height of 10 ft. It still worked and kept on working. Best staple gun I have ever owned.

Great Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I have used a manual stapler and hated how hard they were to use. How you had to manage to apply great force to the stapler tip on the surface you were stapling to, while at the same time trying to get that big stapler handle down, and then only to have it misfire. Ah, it was so frustrating. I have very large hands and still had lots of trouble, I can't imagine how someone with smaller hands could use a heavy duty manual stapler. So, I finally bought a good electric one. I decided to go for the AC powered, as it was less $$, and I do not mind using a cord, and not having to worry about charging a battery. Works like a dream, so far no misfires. Only thing I would suggest they change is the ergonomics - I find it is much easier for me to use my middle finder on the trigger, as the grip is too short for me to fit my hand on the handle and squeeze the trigger with my index finger, so I put my palm more forward and use my middle finger.
