1117 Sounded like a better electric stapler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The T50ACD electric stapler looked like it might be a good addition to my tools when I was purchasing a replacement T50 that fell apart after many years of service. I was working on a project to attach soffit vent screening to freshly stained ¼” lattice to keep animals out from under my deck. I was using T50 3/8” staples around the perimeter of each section of lattice and 5/16” staples for the field areas. As I started, I was having issues with the 3/8” staples going in about halfway, only shooting one side of the staple in or it jamming and not getting the staples in at all. It was not doing much better with the 5/16” staples. It was not until I put a second hand on top of the stapler and pressed down and also made sure that I kept the whole stapler as level with the lattice as I could that it worked better and shot the staples in most of the time, but it was not easy to do all the time. Overall, disappointed with the operation of the stapler.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear that you're not fully satisfied with your staple gun. We do recommend placing a hand on top of the stapler to achieve full force. Also, the contact safety mechanism requires you to make full contact with the substrate before the gun will fire.

Nothing fancy but gets the job done…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just a bit more than a manual stapler, but sooo much easier to use. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done. Perfect for small jobs around the house, not sure why you’d need anything more.

Could not have finished my project without it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I refurbish older stereo speakers and often times the hardest part is reworking the speaker grills. I started out with the manual T50 stapler, but the wood frame was so hard it would not work. So I purchased the T50ACD. It worked great and my speaker grills came out prefect. Love the size of it. Glad I made the leap to electric.
