Poor quality

I bought the stapler last year. I previously had a spring type Arrow stapler that lasted over 25 years and that experience was key to me buying this electric one. Just today I decided to use it for the first time to install bird netting. I filled it with a row of T50 staples but before one third of the row was used, the stapler quit working. There wasn't a jammed staple. I checked the extension cord and plugged the stapler directly into several sockets, but it remained dead. As a last resort, I decided to take the housing apart hoping I'd see something obvious. What I found was the gear housing had come away from the motor. It looked like a simple fix and after reattaching the gear housing and reassembling the whole thing, it still doesn't work. Now I'm faced with getting another stapler so I can finish what I started. Disappointing.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve had a manual Arrow stapler for years but being a senior citizen, I don’t have the hand strength to use a manual stapler for any length I’d time. That’s why I bought this electric stapler. I’ll use it around the house for projects.

Poor staple driver

I had issues driving 1/2 inch staples in wood while installing insulation, so I switched to 1/4 inch staples. And with the 1/4 inch staples, it would skip a staple every other shot, and would shoot 2 the next shot. Both brand of staples are Arrow T50, 504 and 508.
Pros: insulation, Upholstery
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Used to hang insulation and it was fast and easy on the hands. The safety release can be annoying if you don’t hold it just right.

Great for redoing upholstery

I redid some older chairs we had around the house with some fabric i had bought and it worked out really great. I had so many family members asking where I had got them and when i told them I redid the old ones they was in shock. I am now looking for all kind of projects that i can use my new staple gun on. Now I don't have to wait around on my husband to do the projects for me i can just do them myself.
