Hello, there. We are sorry you've been disappointed by your experience with the T50ACD Compact Electric Staple Gun.
This tool was designed with motor drive technology to ensure consistent driving force for each shot; it was not designed to be a rapid-fire staple gun. That being said, the T50ACD does fire at a rate of about 60 shots per minute, versus a traditional solenoid driven electric tool that averages about 30 shots per minute.
However, we understand there may be other issues at play here, so we'd like to chat with you directly about this to make sure we fully understand the issues you encountered, particularly in regards to the strength of this tool.
This product is easy to load and simple to use. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is amazing. Simple and easy to load and use. Would recommend this stapler for any project you have. Never misses a beat.
I purchased this electric stapler thinking it would shoot staples into all woods. I took my bar stools apart and recovered them using the same wood base. I need a hammer to sink the staples in. The staples are 3/8". There should be a warning on the packaging stating this gun is not recommended for staples 3/8" or larger.
Pros: Upholstery
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey there, we are so sorry you've been frustrated by your experience with the T50ACD Compact Electric Staple Gun. Sometimes what you've described can be resolved by picking the shortest staple possible to achieve the 3/16-inch to 1/4-inch penetration required for a secure hold. When working with a hard wood like oak or MDF, placing one hand on the cap of the tool may also be helpful.
However, what you've described is unusual and does sound like an issue that may fall within our product warranty, so we'd like to touch base with you about this directly. Please look for an email from our team today!

Hey there, we are so sorry you were disappointed by your experience with the T50ACD Compact Electric Staple Gun & Nailer.
We'd like to touch base with you directly to learn more about the type of surface being stapled into for your reupholstery project (plywood, MDF, pine, etc.), as well as the size of staple being used. This will help us troubleshoot with you and check if this issue falls within our product warranty.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty good stapler for upholstery. A little more power would be good but it handled a light upholstery job just fine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the safety feature to prevent accidental firing. This staple gun has made reupholstering boat seats quick and easy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a electric stapler that looks good , feels good and works good. This stapler has it all.
