Makes stapling easier

Pros:
A nice staple gun. Really nice to handle instead of constant squeezing, no fatigue from long term use. Can staple a lot quickly.
Cons:
Jams occasionally. Can't get right up to an edge due to design. Have to really push down hard on padded fabric to get it to staple (due to safety tip).

Hey there, thank you for taking time to provide detailed feedback on your T50ACD Compact Electric Staple Gun.
You are correct that this staple gun has a contact safety that needs to be fully engaged before the tool will fire. Typically this is more a matter of positioning than force, although -- like you said -- it can be more challenging to engage the safety on padded fabric. When working with edges, it can sometimes help to turn the tool or the material around so that the staple is very close to the edge. By orienting the edge toward yourself, the safety interlock should be sufficiently depressed.
If you have any other questions about this -- or if the amount of jams you're experiencing increases -- please give us a call at 800-776-2228 or email customercare@arrowfastener.com since we do stand behind this tool with a warranty.
Thanks again for your detailed feedback!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to replace an electric stapler that was over 30 years old. I used the stapler when I replaced the screening on a porch that were 10 foot by 3 foot openings. This stapler fits your hand very well and is quite comfortable when stapling large areas and made this job go a lot faster.
Pros: Crafting, General Repairs, insulation
I would recommend this to a friend!
