I am a 50 year user of Arrow manual staplers. I had a project and decided to upgrade to an electric stapler. At first it seemed heavier than my manual one but the extra weigh keep it from bouncing during fast firing.
Loading the stapler was confusing at first as the manual stapler loads so differently. The manual was not clear enough on the second read ---- better photos needed especially if someone is used to manual staplers and how they load.
The latch for the quick release magazine is difficult to use. once it only half latched and opened during firing staple.
If the top of the stapler had a flat surface so that it would sit upside down loading the stapler would be easier.

I have used about a box of staples on a project and enjoy the electric version... if I have only a couple of staples to do and not near an electrical outlet I would reach for the manual one. For my use a battery operated stapler was not worth the extra money and the concern that when I wanted to staple that it would be charged.
