constantly jamming

I have used this model for over 25yrs; however, over the past several years I have had a constant problem with jamming on the job, regardless of staple length used or material into which the staples are being shot into. It gets tiring stopping the job to open up the stapler, unjamm it, reassemble it, and then have it jam again. Went out and bought a new one today at Lowes, along with new 3/8' staples, went to the job and the new one was jamming just like the old one. Not sure if the staplers or the staples have changed over the years, but it is terrible now,

Is there really any other staple gun to use?

For installing fanfold insulation. Sunk the staples good. Staples perfect space for openings on vinyl soffet. easy to load and shoot. Very happy with

Jammed straight out of the package

Wouldn't work, then when it started to, it jammed. Fixed the jam, now it won't work again. It's going back.

I bought this to run new wiring
