Diffuser was the surprise star

I got this styler for Christmas and overall I would say it is a mixed bag. Originally I thought I would love the curler and round brush attachments, but those left me wanting more. The curls don’t last and the round brush just creates frizz on me. It is especially bad for styling short layers and bangs. HOWEVER I have naturally curly 2C-3B hair and was blown away at the diffuser attachment. The adjustable fingers help to control how much air and lift gets to the root, and the temperature/airflow settings were just right for making amazing ringlets. I have never gotten more compliments on my curly hair since using. With all that said I am keeping, but for the diffuser only.

Rough bristles, frizzy looking hair

The bristles on the attachments are SO rough and painful and they always rip out my hair! They leave my hair looking extremely frizzy and damaged post dry. The revlon dry brush works much better on my fine, wavy hair

I decided to take the plunge and buy this because I didn’t want to pay more for a Dyson. I’ve never used a Dyson, but I imagine the probably work about the same!
I really love the shark! All of the attachments work really well for me and give me beautiful hair! It could seriously replace all of my hair tools, and I have a lot!

Worth every penny

I love this blow dryer! It dries quickly and has a good range of air strength/temperature settings so it doesn't damage my hair. I haven't used the straight brush yet but I love the oval and the air wrap curlers were very easy to get the hang of. The bend of the dryer itself is so handy as well! My only sort of complaint was just that I thought it came with a carrying case.

Best Christmas Gift EVER

This hair dryer was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend and I love it SO much. Before I begin my in-depth review, I believe I should mention my hair type. I have medium length hair (middle of my back) and my hair is medium/thick. When I let my hair air dry, it gets frizzy even after adding in hair care products (my hair is slightly compromised due to bleach). Now, onto the dryer. First, the hairdryer itself is VERY easy to use. You really do not need to look at the instruction manual that comes with it to learn how to use it because it is very easy to navigate the dryer and it's attachments (however, I do recommend reading it for safety purposes and caring for the dryer). Second, the attachments are very lightweight and easy to attach to the dryer. They click on almost immediately and removing them is just as easy. When attached while using the dryer, they don't move at all and stay right in place, making it easy to style your hair. Third, the dryer itself is powerful! I took a small section of my hair and set the dryer to the lowest heat setting and my hair dried in less than a minute. My hair was straightened and there was zero frizz. It took about 8-10 minutes to fully dry all of my hair and when I finished, my hair looked shiny and healthy (compared to when it air dries). Now, with every amazing product, there are always a few cons. My first con is the weight of the dryer. It isn't terribly heavy, but it is definitely heavier than a traditional blow dryer. Second, it's a bit noisy. It kind of sounds like the hand dryers used in shopping mall bathrooms (I didn't expect it to be awfully quiet, but I also didn't expect it to be so loud). And finally, I really wish the hairdryer came with some sort of case or box to store the dryer. I've been keeping it in the box it came in and it isn't offering the dryer much protection. I wish there were some special case it came with to keep it safe and make pulling out the dryer and the attachments easier. Anyway, the pros outweigh the cons and this dryer is amazing. I 100/10 recommend this to anyone!!!

It made very cute curls and worked well to curl but they didn’t hold no matter WHAT I tried for longer than an hour - these photos are an hour and a half apart and I used curl cream, extra strength hair spray and pinned them up until they were fully cool !
