Unreliable piece of junk

I have been fighting with one of these pieces of junk for a couple weeks. All I wanted was a basic printer/scanner to plug in via USB. I have zero interest in setting it up on a network, Wi-Fi etc. However it constantly throws errors when printing, but doesn't actually tell you what the error is. The print quality is also pretty terrible, it looks like a bad laser printer from the 90's. And good luck ever scanning anything over USB. You will be constantly confronted with USB communication failure notifications, and the only way to get it to work is to randomly restart your computer and the printer half a dozen times until eventually it works on pure luck.
Wish I could give this piece of junk 0 stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Could not connect to home wi fi

Wasted 2 hours of my time trying to connect to a 6 month old HP Laptop, house has 5g wi fi.
Ridiculous small touch screen on printer, impossible to really scroll thru menu.
Took it back and bought a Brother. Up and running in 15 minutes

Just followed the instructions to setup wifi. Downloaded the android app and it works just fine. Printed my first ever document fom my tablet.. Haven't connected directly to my computer, no need to..

Very useful for occasional use, mostly due to the very affordable price.
Canon makes a very good printer. This on produces nice, crisp text. Used
the scan and copy features but not the fax yet. Hardly ever need to fax, however
it's there should I ever need it.
