[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This printer is the best printer i have ever owned. I work from home and need quite a few documents printed and this machine does it with ease. The quality and definition of the prints is amazing and it prints super fast. The touch screen display makes it a breeze to navigate the different options. Scanning is super easy and gives great definition. Also a plus is you can connect your smartphone to the printer and printer directly from your phone! Highly recommended.

My new favorite printer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So around my house we print everything. I print work packets, wife prints exercise pamphlets for her patients and we both print oodles or pictures of our kids or pictures they've done on the computer. So needless to say we print a lot! Previously we were using a eco-tank inkjet printer. Which was great at first and the ink was super cheap. However those are not made for the long haul and the heads deteriorate and break down. Not to mention the sometimes 10 minutes it takes for it to be ready to print. All of this though is cured with a color laser printer. Prints are nearly instant, clear, don't smudge and toner last forever and is super cheap. There is also no ink heads to dry up, get dirty, break or leak. It just works and works great! Let me roll into pros/cons
Pros:
-Prints quickly. Any amount as well/
-Toner last thousands of pages
-Genuine toner is actually pretty cheap
-Quality is amazing
-Can print large files easily
-Holds a lot of paper!
-Great scanner
-Works as a copier
Cons:
-None Yet!
The adage you get what you pay for here is doubly true. You just can't beat the reliability, speed and quality of a color laser printer. Pictures are just as sharp as our old slow ecotank. I will say this printer is much larger than our old ecotank and significantly heavier, but its footprint is exactly the same. Its just 3x as tall. So far we've printed around 3k pages and were still on the included toner and haven't had a jam yet. We've also scanned a myriad of kids drawings which are crumpled and mated and its scanned them flawlessly. I really cant say anything negative about this printer at all. Its seriously just that good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this printer for our office. We need a more professional / premium printer and did the research, this is the one. It can print/scan, has wireless connectivity, and easily connects with my phone. Having a printer/scanner that is high quality for business docs is a game changer. Since its wireless, no wires makes it easy on the eye and very versatile in terms of where you put it. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Printer for my Home Office
on August 2, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got a chance to use the Canon imageCLASS D1650 Laser Printer, and I must say, it has been an absolute game-changer for my home office. As someone who relies heavily on a printer for both personal and professional purposes, the D1650's all-in-one print/scan functionality, wireless connectivity, and mobile printing capabilities with NFC have made my life so much easier.
First off, the all-in-one feature is a major plus. Having a printer, scanner, and copier all in one compact device saves a significant amount of space in my home office. The scanning capability is surprisingly fast and produces clear and high-quality scans. Whether I need to digitize important documents or send multiple-page contracts to clients, the D1650 handles it with ease.
The wireless connectivity option is a real game-changer. Setting up the printer on my home network was a breeze, and now I can print from anywhere within Wi-Fi range. I really like that I can put this printer anywhere in my house without having to run an ugly cable to it!
One of the standout features of the D1650 is its mobile printing capabilities with NFC (Near Field Communication). I was skeptical at first, but after trying it out, I am thoroughly impressed. With a simple tap of my smartphone against the printer, I can instantly print emails, web pages, or any other documents stored on my smartphone. This comes in really handy when I'm in a rush and need to print a shipping label quickly.
The print quality of the Canon imageCLASS D1650 is outstanding. Text documents come out sharp and crisp, while graphics retain their fine details. The print speed is very fast! I have not timed it, but compared to my older laser printer it chews through pages at least twice as fast. I love that I no longer have to wait around for my documents to finish printing.
The printer's paper handling is also commendable. It has a generous paper capacity, and the automatic document feeder (ADF) makes scanning and copying multiple pages a breeze. The touch-screen control panel is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate through the printer's various functions.
Overall, the Canon imageCLASS D1650 Laser Printer is an exceptional all-in-one device that lives up to its promises. The wireless connectivity and mobile printing capabilities are super helpful, and the NFC feature is a neat addition that makes printing from my smartphone a breeze. If you're looking for a reliable and efficient laser printer with scanning capabilities for your home or small office, I highly recommend considering the Canon imageCLASS D1650. It's been a valuable addition to my workspace, and I can't imagine going back to my old printer after experiencing the convenience and versatility of this model.

This printer satisfies my expectations except for the scan to file feature from the printer's control panel which despite all efforts appears not to be supported via smb for MacOS. Hope a firmware update addresses this issue.

Great printer. Does everything you can need for a medium sized business. Only downfall I found is trying to print single checks from a full sheet from Quickbooks if needed. Still have yet to figure it out on my own or in the forum where I posted for help.
