Now that I'm alternating between my regular and home office, I needed to have power cords in both places - if only to keep from crawling under my desk every day to plug in and unplug. I bought a knock-off earlier, and it stopped working after 3 months. My only issue with the new Lenovo chord is that it seemed to lose power when plugged into the surge protector/power strip. I needed to plug it directly into the wall to keep the screen from dimming.
