(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Got this bag for under $20 as an add-on with a laptop purchase, otherwise it would be 1 star. Unbelievably poor quality materials, weak stitching, no useful space or pockets, and next to no protection for the laptop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
