The PIMA TS8820 set up w/verizon wireless internet gateway box - flawless! Direction card included with the printer easy to do. Even when internet goes out with a storm, once back up it finds my printer automatically. Print quality is very good. The 4 star is only due to it’s lightweight flimsy parts, so treat it kindly, and it will last fine for home use or small office. Love the ink cartridge system and signed up for automatic monitoring and delivery with Canon so I never run out of ink. Much better than the mega tank printer where ink head dries out & renders it useless. These colors are also more vibrant and true to photo color. Quick enough printing for me who only does photo projects randomly. Recommend.

Frustratingly unreliable, buggy wireless printing

Connectivity issues are a constant battle with this printer, even when using the canon print app. Printer is constantly dropping print jobs halfway through for no apparent reason, getting stuck on power down cycle for ten minutes forcing a manual plug pull, and overall, never works right the first time. It’s always something. If you want a printer that you can print from with your iPhone without extra apps and a hassle-free experience, this is a horrible option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I needed to replace my Epson printer which continually gave me issues with the quality of prints it produced so I decided to try Canon. I did not have the space for one of Canon's larger photo printers and saw the TS8820. This was the perfect sized photo printer and although I would not get the quality of prints that a larger Canon printer would give, I am very please with the way my prints come out. I've even made prints for others that really love them. The printer was easy to set up and I was able to start printing in a short time. This is by far better than my other printer.

The TS 8820 I purchased has been great! Set up using the instructions for wireless printing was straightforward and smooth. So far, I’ve printed documents and some photos. I love the rear tray for photo paper and card stock. Very happy with my purchase.
