A Great "Traveling Light" everyday lens.

The LUMIX G Series 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 Camera Lens is a fun all arounder camera lens in a wonderful compact size. Though on the older side, it still produces very good image captures. I primarily purchased this lens for when I want to travel light. I primarily pair this lens with my G100D and GF10/GX800 cameras. The power zoom is a fun feature and can be controlled by the camera or the button on the lens. It is not super sharp image quality when compared to modern prime lenses, but still it is also perfectly acceptable. I like it better than the more current 12-35 zoom lens that comes with the G100D. Focus is very slow, so don't expect to capture fast moving objects, but for every day and travel it is more than acceptable. The image stabilization helps a little especially with bodies that don't have their own stabilization. The latest firmware update allows it to cooperate with cameras that do have built in stabilization like the G9M2.
Overall, I like this lens, it is great for city / street photos and general all around use.
I would recommend this to a friend!
