It covers the majority of what I shoot.

My default lens. Versatile for both stills and video throughout the focal range. 12mm is just wide enough, 35mm is just long enough, and Goldilocks is in the middle. It takes care of the majority of what I shoot. Beautiful wide open or stopped down. The same construction that lets this lens shoot at F2.8 from 12mm-35mm also allows me to maintain a consistent look and feel in consecutive video clips.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi there! Thank you for the thoughtful review. We’re delighted to hear this lens has become your go-to choice for both stills and video. It’s especially rewarding to know the 12–35mm range, constant F2.8 aperture, and consistent rendering are supporting the way you shoot across so many situations. We appreciate you taking the time to share such a detailed perspective.
