[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice-looking case with sufficient padding to cushion a short drop. Not so bulky, though, that it doesn't fit in my backback or bags. Not too much spare room around the laptop, so it won't shift much.

To big for a 14" Laptop. When I put my X1 inside it feels like there is a solid inch of extra space... rather sloppy.

The ThinkPad 14" Sleeve is the standard sleeve for all of our 14" ThinkPad model machines. The reason the sleeves would have a little extra room is because the sleeves are designed to fit all the ThinkPad series of each size – so for example, the 14” sleeve fits the largest ThinkPad, the L-series, pretty snuggly, but there is a little more room with the smallest ThinkPad’s like X1 carbon and T480s. The 12” sleeve fits the 11.6” systems and the 12.5” systems, etc. The sleeve line is brand new (within last year) and the technical engineers tested each sleeve with each system leading to the best possible fit that covers the most systems.
