Not too snug so that my 14" ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 8 laptop easily slides in and out with room for papers. Nice soft padding inside. Convenient zip closed separate outside pocket large enough for cables, connectors and other essentials. Excellent handle for ease of carrying.
