Good product needs a new app

The picture quality is really good. We love it. But when we try to install the app it says it needs a new software update on the app. My phone will not allow me to install the app due to its old version of privacy settings. I would recommend a friend only if they fix the app.

Just opened it up for x-mas & super psyched to use. Not even 60 seconds on and a huge black circle in the middle rendering it useless.
