If I scan the QR code for the phone it isn't safe my and or my wife's phone both said the download is not safe and won't download

I just bought this today. Come home and plugged it in. Look great, two minutes later a big black spot in the center of the picture. That’s crap!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
