So we got this sound bar for Christmas gift. Had a great experience with iLive products in the past and this sound bar doesn’t disappoint. Awesome sound in optical mode!!! Sounds like you’re in a movie theater!

It's an Improvement

I was able to improve the quality of the audio with the bass and treble controls, but couldn't get the volume I would have liked. Having to use a separate remote control was somewhat of a disappointment, too. I would have preferred that the device could learn to control volume from my existing remote.
The price was certainly reasonable, though. Also, I would have liked to use the wall mount location, which is a good feature, but since I chose to use the optical feed, the connector was not long enough to do this.
