Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this to add to my bedroom TV to help me sleep at night. It allows me to keep volume lower since sound bar is behind head board. Very easy to set-up, gives good quality sound at an inexpensive price.

sound bar remote

After having the sound bar for about a year, the remote decided not to work. You push the up button and the sound goes down until you can't hear anything...you push the down button and the sound goes down also, until you can't hear anything. Then you have to manually push the buttons on the side of the sound bar to get any sound. We changed the battery...and that wasn't it. Now the remote doesn't work at all. What gives?

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited about this product and I’m sorry to say I have to leave a negative review. I’ll start from the beginning. First of all it while it was relatively easy to put up and install, I would recommend actual written instructions for people who are less confident with home improvement tasks. I understand why the diagram seemed sufficient but I think simple written instructions would be a big improvement. Regardless I got it up with relative ease and it was easy to see which cords to plug in where. Unfortunately when it was all set up and I followed the instructions for use, it powered on but no sound came out. The instructions do not include any trouble shooting information. That was definitely a disappointment. Finally, even if it had worked I wouldn’t have been comfortable using this in my home anyway because the remote it powered by a button battery which is very loosely secured in cheap brittle plastic. I have a curious toddler and these batteries can kill children in a matter of hours. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the price and quality of sound, the item is just ok. The fact that I don't get audio from the speaker when connected either from the tv or the blue ray player that I am using is why it gets such a low number of stars. On top of that, it doesn't automatically power off when it doesn't receive a signal. I'm expecting it to shut off automatically when I leave in the morning and it's still on when I get home the following day since I work 24 hr shifts. But as a Bluetooth speaker it's ok. I expected a bit more volume to come from it, but as far as the room size, it does it's job.
