Excellent sound upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the iLive HD Sound Bar! What a fun upgrade to our family room. I'm not really tech savvy and the installation of the sound bar was quite easy. I opted to wall mount my sound bar and the package comes with all of the tools needed to complete this. The wall map was quite handy to measure and install without a measuring tape, triple checks, etc. I was able to do it myself without help and I'm not super handy. You'll have just one cord hanging down depending on where your outlet is, but my entertainment center covers it up so the look stays sleek. It doesn't really catch your eye if you opt to set it on top of a book case or entertainment center underneath a wall mount tv. The sound is great! The remote is just a little bit longer than a business card so you might consider how you might store it so it does not get lost. I love that I can just plug in an old iPod to enjoy music through the speaker as well. So glad I got this.

Better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price, this sound bar is great. The sound is crisp and well balanced. I love how the led light changes color for each input type and that it tells you what input setting it goes to. The remote is pretty small for my liking but the voice output makes up for it.

We got it all hooked up and it sounds AMAZING! I cant believe I waited this long to get one. But it was definitely worth the wait! I highly recommend it!

Lightweight and Packs a Powerful Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound bar producing clear and loud sound. It's a huge difference over the standard tv speakers. The sound bar makes the TV experience much more enjoyable. The sound bar alone is not bass heavy, so anyone looking for that might want to go with the Sound Bar system with subwoofer. The unit itself is very light weight and can be placed on a console or mounted under the tv. The only issue I ran into was the optical cable provided didn't fit into the sound bar optical port. I tried and tried and it seems like it's not the right size or shape. I used another optical cable I had laying around and it worked fine. Overall, I am very satisfied with the sound bar.

Nice soundbar

It is easy to hook up as it has multiple ways to connect. It has good sound and easy to put where you want it.

Easy to install and great sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently tried hooking up a sound system for surround sound. We tried everything to get it to work. I had to take it back. I was a little leery about just an optical cord but it worked! I plugged it in and it automatically went to optical on my TV. It’s in front of the TV and fits perfectly. The sound as if they are in the room with me. I highly recommend this product for those who are unsure about hooking up electronics!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The price on this sound bar is a steal. The sound is solid, not the highest quality, but better than your standard TV speakers. The bluetooth pairing works flawlessly, allowing you to connect multiple devices to this sound bar. There is also the option to connect via Digital Optical Audio port, RCA hookups, and 3.5mm audio cable.
The sound bar comes with a Digital Optical Audio cable, but the quality of the cable is terrible, you're better off buying a different one. It also comes with a pretty low quality remote, mounting hardware, and the power cable. The sound bar is not very heavy, so mounting it by yourself should be pretty easy. Set up was simple, I was up and running within a minute or two.
Overall, a solid addition to a spare room TV. The sound quality is good enough, but isn't going to replace a surround sound system, or set of bookshelf speakers.

Solid Sound Bar

It also looks nice. I like the Bluetooth feature but I would love a wifi connecting feature even more because not all of my TVs have Bluetooth.
