Good Replacement for TV Speakers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iLive HD Sound Bar with Bluetooth was easy to hook up to the TV and has many different connection methods. It included a paper for easy wall installation. The sound is definitely better than the TV speakers. It's fast and simple to use with Bluetooth devices. I would get this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would say the sound quality is average and it doesn't really provide a true surround experience, but the value is there, it's sleek, and it also has bluetooth which is convenient for a quick party living room speaker.

Quality is Good, difficulty setting it up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality for this product is good, especially for my apartment. Fills up the place. The only issue I had is I have a smart TV and took me some time and youtube videos to get it connected to my TV. Granite, I'm not the most Techy guy.

Good quality for the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bluetooth soundbar is easy on the wallet, but still provides a good quality sound experience. It is easy to setup and comes with an optical cable out of the box. I used it to add better audio to an older plasma TV and it works great. I can also connect my phone easily using Bluetooth to listen to music. I only gave this a 4 star because I could not program my universal remote to control the volume, so I have to utilize the separate remote that came with the soundbar. Good value for the price.

Good sized soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, it didn’t come with an aux cord. After getting one it took a bit to set up and get working. Has to be plugged into line in for it to work instead of the aux port (strange). After figuring that out it worked great. Bluetooth is convenient for connecting your phone. Sounds great. Definitely recommend this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the box, I found the sound bar to just have a cheap feeling. It is nice that it comes with an optical cable though, although it’s quite short. Setup was fairly straight forward. There is no display on it, so the only indicator you get is a multi-color LED on the front that changes color based on the input selected. It does at least announce with voice what input you switch to when changed, but it’s super loud and annoying, especially when it’s quiet in the room. The sound is very flat and lifeless. It’s over equalized in some areas, under equalized in others. There is no bass to speak of. I could not get it to work with my Xfinity remote. None of the codes they have for iLive products work. So now we have three remotes; one for the TV, one for Xfinity, and one for the sound bar. The remote is tiny and will get lost easily. Overall, it’s a cheap sound bar that isn’t impressive in any way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks Great but Low Volume

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went back and forth with this review on whether to give it 3 or 4 stars. From the looks of it, the soundbar should have been a major upgrade to any low end TV. For the price, there is really nothing on the market that can compare to it. In the end though, the volume kills the deal. When you have it low, its clear and crisp (better than my 6 year old TV), but as soon as you need to pump up the volume, the sound starts to deteriorate. As of now, I get better sound out of my stand alone smart device then I do when I connect the bluetooth to the sound bar.
Depending on your needs, if you are in search of crisp clean sound but at lower volumes, then the iLive could be perfect for you. At the price it is, I know it is extremely difficult to have insane expectations but volume is one of those things that just has to be there to make it work for me.
