Disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the 37" after having a 32" iLive sound bar for about two years. I was very happy with the 32" and was excited when my new sound bar arrived but with in the first five minutes it was cutting in and out. I tried to look for troubleshooting options online and solutions were hard to find. After finally finding some I made sure that the optical output on the tv was set to PCM, which it was. I tried switching out the optical cord but that didn't help. I tried shutting both the tv and sound bar off for 15 seconds, I thought that fixed it but now when it's a quiet part the sound bar will cut out/in. It sounds great, I just wish it wouldn't cut in and out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sub Woofer Doesn’t Work

I just purchased this sound bar and subwoofer and I am terribly disappointed. The sound bar works perfectly but there is no sound coming from the sub woofer at all. When we turn it on we hear a pop but then nothing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sound bar and subwoofer needs to be close

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fairly standard sound bar with subwoofer. Subwoofer syncs with bar via bluetooth. Both bar and subwoofer has identical AC power adapters. Sound bar allows input via Bluetooth, RCA, minijack, and optical. Sound quality of bar is good. Treble and mids could be a bit more crisp, but still sounds good. Bass has enough oomph. Main problem we have with the setup is the subwoofer range. When the subwoofer is placed behind a dresser, which is about 15 feet away from the soundbar, the bluetooth connection gets dropped intermittently. The bass will cut out for a few seconds and come back several times during the same song. The problem resolved when the subwoofer is brought closer to the bar and without obstruction from furniture. This may be a problem for larger and more cluttered rooms.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this sound bar last week after months of shopping for "thee perfect soundbar" I was very hesitant to buy because I wasn't for sure the sound would be great and if it will work with my tv. After the easy setup, I was blasting clear sounding music and watching movies with "surround sound" very glad I decided to purchase.

Soundbar good. Subwoofer garbage.

It worked once, then the woofer failed to connect and will not reconnect. So, no bass. No fix in the manual or online. No replacement without the original packaging. Bluetooth connection makes some sense I guess, but there should be a cable option between the soundbar and the subwoofer. But there is not.
