The nuttribullet ultra is very powerful. It does make a whrrrrring noise but since this is my first nuttribullet, I cannot compare with others. I try not to overfill and have not had any overflow problems. Despite having used it about 10-12 times, it still gives off a mild machine smoky smell. Hope that goes away soon.
Hope this nuttribullet will last a while as it’s an expensive small kitchen appliance.

This model has improved power, blade quality, and assembly design. It's also noticeably quieter and cycles faster, so my wife doesn't give me "the look" every time it runs :)

Inferior in Almost Every Way

Purchased in Feb 24 and after a few month's use, I can say this product is inferior to its predecessors in almost every way. The manufacturer's claim that this product is quiet is false. It is much, much louder than the Nutribullet Pro, which I also own. The suction cups are nice if you want to walk away while your blender runs, but they stick to everything! It would be nice to have the option to engage the suction cups when needed. The blending cup is way too narrow. Food gets stuck at the top, preventing consistent blend and it's nearly impossible to clean, even for medium sized hands. It is not worth the extra cost and I regret my purchase, wishing I'd just purchased another Nutribullet Pro.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
