Had some issues due to not reading instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my dad set up the light. He didn't read far enough to the part where it talks about setting up the motion sensor the first time you turn in on. It's controlled by a switch inside our house. I thought maybe this would reset it and count as it first being turned on, but I still can't get the motion to work properly. Maybe you can only get the motion sensor to work with the company's smart bulbs. I really don't know. All I know is, I tried to change the darkness/light settings and the brightness on the side and it didn't work with a standard bulb. Again, I'm not sure if this is due to the initial setup not being finished or the bulb. I can't figure out how to fix it or sync it to an app either. My dad got rid of the box, so all I have is instructions and I'm not sure they are even complete. My advice is to pay attention to the instructions and to follow them closely. I can't recommend because I can't figure out how to get it to work beyond a standard light turned on and off by a switch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently, I was able to receive and use the Globe Electric Matte Black Motion Sensor Outdoor Wall Sconce. The appearance was simple with a nice glass shading. Finding the right bulb for the light was a little frustrating, but I was able to get it done. The light works and comes on when anyone was on the porch. This is a decent porch and motion sensor light.
I would recommend this to a friend!
