Only if a person is sitting next to you the screen is private . But if they are standing up or just elevated, they can read screen or see who messages are from. In describing it, it stated if someone is peeking over shoulder they cannot see.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve been a Zagg customer for years and their privacy screen protector its my go to (honestly the best!), this year the actual glass has like a pattern to it, so after you apply it and look at your phone screen you can actually see the microdots on the screen , i had to buy a clear screen protector for the first time in years, i hope that they come out with an update or different model; for now you can skip this one.

Great Screen Protector

Really works unlike other privacy screen protectors that randomly cause air bubbles to develop and moistness to occur this screen protector does not do any of those really worth the price great quality although you have to be carful with the tray they give you to apply the screen protector the rings they give you to align up have to be forced down so it’s not a so easy installation.

It looked like there was little black spots throughout the screen, it was not clear invisible glass like previous glasses I have gotten.

Decent with small flaws

The privacy screen is extremely easy to apply. They have a fool proof system so the protector is perfectly aligned with the screen. The shield also seems to provide decent protection.
I am however getting a yellow tint in comparison with my old phone (with privacy screen from JETech). I am also seeing tiny diagonal lines, slightly more visible than on my old phone.
I asked for a replacement and was given one right away. The replacement had the exact same effect however.
