Cheaper and more reliable than a lawn service!

We have a long, level 0.34 acre backyard and a small streetside yard. After mowing them with a rider for 20+ years, and struggling with lawn services for 5 (don’t come often enough, drive too fast and leave skid marks everywhere), we tried the Goat 2000 Lidar Pro, and couldn’t be happier. We have a fair amount of tree coverage, and one fenceless boundary, so not depending Bon RTK is working great! It takes between 4 and 5 trips to finish the back yard which is just fine. The app gives us great control of when and how it mows. And it’s so quiet! The LiDAR is great at avoiding obstacles. We ran it after dark, and watched it go around rabbits, and come back and mow there after they moved. It’s easy to change the blades and clean the underside, and it lives under our deck (out of the way). We put a kiddie pool over it attached to the deck instead of the garage attachment and it works perfectly. We highly recommend the Goat A2000 LiDAR Pro!

Exelent buy, this Robot is Amazing compared to the 1000
I love the lidar system and the 3D imaging of my back yard, it is a great Upgrade from my GOAT 1000, the trimmer system is wonderful, the only issue was that the garage could not be attached to the charge station like I attached it to the charge station on my GOAT 1000, other than that,, is an amazing product at an incredible price, i recomend it 100%

Amazing Mower! We LOVE it!

This mower is amazing and was so easy to setup. This is our first robot mower and we are replacing a 20 year old lawn tractor for our 1/3 acre lot. The feature where you can view the front view of the mower and talk to people (or pets) in your yard is a nice bonus feature.
We are so glad we picked this product for our property!

I am enjoying the remote mowing at a rental house with a front and rear yard. The A2000 has been mowing a few weeks now, and doing a great job!
I am committed to designing my lawn(s) to enable efficient robotic mowing - I had to level out a couple sprinklers below grade, and fill in a hole next to the lawn, and I keep the gate propped open so it can mow the front and the back. It handles the "path" and the "no entry zone" just fine.
I am using this more as a convenience than a "time saver" - Because I do not live near the rental house, and do not want to pay for service, this is doing a good job of keeping the lawn looking great!
1900 sqft front lawn and 2400 sqft rear lawn -
This is my second Goat - I also have a O1000 RTK from last year that is used on a smaller lawn for testing out the idea - very happy with the unit, and bought the next size up for the rental house!

I’ve had the Goat 2000 for about 3 weeks now. I wish I bought it sooner the set up was extremely easy if I can do it anyone can lol. I’ve enjoyed just setting the schedule an let it go.

Works pretty well! The cut quality is good and the navigation/obstacle avoidance works as advertised. Mapping was easy and straightforward. Nice to not have an RTK antenna to worry about. I use it every other day on my mixed grass/clover lawn.
I only have two gripes. One, the edge trimming could use refinement. I have not been successful in trimming right to the edge and creating new trimming areas, like around raised garden beds, hasn’t worked. I create a no mow zone and kept the mower right up against the beds when mapping, even scraping the mower against the beds in some cases. Once completed and a trimming run started, it’s way too far away from the beds.
Second, I’d like to see replacement parts sold. That would make me feel more comfortable having such a pricey product. Simple things like a bumper, wheels, etc. Most importantly, I’d like to see replacement batteries available.

Lawn Service Done Right!

Just got my GOAT A2000 Lidar an it is amazing! Very easy to get started. The mapping process is simple whether to choose to auto map or manually map it. I set the schedule and now my GOAT eats 4 times a week and keeps the yard looking great! The edger attachment works well. I’d definitely recommend for those that want to set it and let it go to work while you enjoy a cold beverage.
