Easy installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried the Ring Doorbell Plus 2nd Generation and overall it’s very nice. It was easy to setup with the directions and app. The video is clear and works well, but I do wished it came with the chime so you can hear it throughout the house.without having to purchase it separately.

One feature I especially appreciate is the battery charging process - the battery is easy to remove and recharge, making maintenance simple. Night vision provides a clear view after dark , helping monitor activity around the entrance. The device responds quickly to motion events , and notifications are delivered promptly through the app. Overall it has been reliable and easy to use.

Such a great product for home security!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a recent falling out with an unreasonable neighbor, my family decided to install Ring Battery Dorbell Plus (2nd generation) cameras on and in our house so that we can easily monitor our property both when we are home and when we are away.
My husband reported that this unit was extremely easy to set up right out of the box and he had no technology or compatibility problems. The app is fantastic, and it allows me to clearly see what’s going on in my driveway right from my phone!
I really love this feature, as I love with chronic health issues and often need to rest during the day, but find myself jumping up every time my dogs bark at the driveway area. Now I can simply view the camera in the app and it’s saved me from having to get up for the times they are barking at nothing!
I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to enhance their home security and be able to easily view. What’s going on around their property right from the convenience of a cell phone. The unit itself is stylish and looks just like a regular doorbell. It’s slim and will match with most home decor.

My opinion is I really like it and really happy to have a chance to try this product. First, the installation was very simple and straightforward, easy for someone without much experience setting up smart home device. The instructions easy to follow and I had it up and running in no time.
Beside of that, I noticed was how loud and clear the doorbell sound is. I never missed the visitors or delivery packages no more. The camera quality is also surprisingly sharp and provided clear video during both day and night. Face, movements and all detail are easy to see, which give me a extra peace of mind when i am away from home
The motions detection work well and send timely notification to my phone whenever someone approached the door. I also like to two ways audio feature, which allowed me to communicate with visitors even I am not home. The app is user- friendly and make easy to see the footage, check records again and customize settings
To consider all the build quality, camera clarity, smart feature and reliability, I honestly think this doorbell camera is worth every penny. If you looking for an affordable price, easy to install camera doorbell that performed well, and help improve home security, I would definitely recommend this product

So easy to install and video quality is amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a Ring customer for several years now, so I was excited to upgrade to the new Battery Doorbell Plus. The good news… setup was ridiculously easy. Once the battery was charged, I had everything installed, connected to the app, and up and running in probably 10 minutes or less.
The battery compartment is easy to access with the included tool, which is great… just make sure you put that little tool somewhere safe because I can absolutely see myself losing it 😂
Since this model doesn’t need to be hardwired, I paired it with a no-drill door mount instead of screwing anything into my house. That made installation even easier, and I like that I can move it to a side door or back door if I ever want extra coverage elsewhere.
Compared to my older Ring doorbell, this one is a noticeable improvement. The video quality is much clearer and the wider view lets me see more of my porch and front yard. I’m currently using the included Ring Protect trial, and the detailed notifications have been really helpful because I can quickly tell whether an alert is something I actually need to pay attention to.
One tip from someone who’s lived through several Wisconsin winters… if you’re going with a battery-powered Ring, consider picking up a second battery. The batteries tend to drain faster during really cold weather, and having a spare charged and ready to swap in means you won’t miss anything while one is charging.
Overall, I’m really happy with this upgrade and wish I had made the switch sooner.

The battery life has been surprisingly good and lasts much longer than I expected between charges. Video quality is sharp, motion alerts are fast, and the two-way audio works really well. I also like being able to check live view and get notifications anytime someone is at the door. Overall, it's been very reliable and gives a lot of peace of mind.
