We set this up on our 5th wheel and immediately got boosted from about 1-2 bars to 4-5. Made our WiFi fast and efficient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have rural remote property. At best on any given day, we get barely 1 bar of LTE signal on our T-Mobile iPhones. With the WeBoost, we get 3 to 4 bars of 5G signal. Absolutely amazing!!!

Product does provide a boost to my cell phone. Tested in the last month in camping trips and remote locations across the Western States. Over-all, in many camp-grounds, and remote locations, Cell phone signal was obtained, because of the weBoost. (note, Multiple occasions, with signal, turned off the power to the weboost and lost connectivity to the Cell tower, then powered back on and gained connectivity, was able to stream music, listen to talk shows, and make phone calls). About 2/3 was able to use the cell phone hot spot for access to internet using a laptop. About 30% of the time, while phone calls, and streaming music was available, data or web access was not. Worth noting, some of the testing was deep in national parks or far off main highways. Cons The phone holder has a magnet to hold the phone to the car dash. While driving, the phone often will fall off. Also, if trying to type on the phone, the phone often falls off the mount. The 12 Volt connector (has a tapered end), as a result it will not fit into some 12 volt ports. Also, there is a lot of cabling. Be prepared for all the cabling running inside the car and to the front of the car. Over-all the WeBoost did boost my Cell signal. Due to the design issue with the 12 volt connector the WeBoost does not fit into my battery pack and it does not fit into my power generator 12 volt connector. It would have been nice if they just provided a standard 12 volt connector, instead of the weird taper end on provided, which does not fit correctly.

Troublesome, Dissapointing

I have had major problems with this expensive product. And it's frustrating because I haven't read any other reviews mention the problems I faced. I hope this review is helpful. For context - I'm a short petite woman traveling around the USA by myself. I assumed that this pole was something I could easily (or even moderately) do myself. I absolutely can NOT do it myself. I'm not tall enough or strong enough to extend the pole and then stand it up. But that's not necessarily the problems I've been having - me being short is just an unfortunate circumstance. I've had 2 major problems: 1. The pole will not lock when extended. Every time I've tried to twist-lock it (like the directions say to) it doesn't actually lock. When I stand it up, the pole comes falling down, collapsing, fast and hard. I have bruises to prove it. I've tried over and over, each time with high hopes and it always ends with me on the verge of tears. One time my boyfriend (who was helping me because I can't assemble it on my own) got it to lock and I asked him how. He said, "brute force". So the next time I'm alone I give his 'brute force' a try and the pole comes completely out, breaking the inner plastic piece. I was able to get it back in but I'm terrified the pole is ruined now. So to summarize I can never actually utilize the 25ft, because it keeps FALLING DOWN! 2. My second major problem is the connection on the low-loss cable to the outside antenna keeps disconnecting. Specifically the silver metal part that is at the end of the white cord detaches from the cord! So the two silver metal pieces stay in tact, but the cable falls off. Every time I try and lift the pole up the cable falls to the ground! I had to put duct tape around it. Who knows how long that will last. I'm overly disappointed with the design and quality of this product- especially considering the price point. I will say it works. But it's a headache to get it to work and not easy at all. Every time I assemble this thing I'm in a terrible cranky mood afterwards. This product is not ergonomic in any way at all. But hey, it works I guess.

The item was well packaged and I didn't have any issues with the instructions and the install is fairly straightforward, depending on how complicated you want to "hide" the wires, or where you choose to mount the hardware. For my install, I opted to use the "flat window cable" in order to provide a quick way to get it set up as opposed to doing any drilling. They provided plenty of cable in order to route the wires wherever you choose for your particular installation. Inside, I connected the "booster" using some of the RG6 provided. I then ran more RG6 (provided) to the internal antenna, which was at the opposite end of the Airstream. On the outside, i connected to the "flat window cable" and ran RG6 (Provided - they give you plenty) along the solar panels and ultimately to the "outside directional antenna" that was attached to the telescoping pole. There was nothing included to keep the wire nice and attached to the pole as it went up, so i used some velcro straps every 6 ft or so in order to not have the cable just dangling, but to have it secured to the telescoping pole. Now, here is a major gap in my personal installation. They provide "2 Wall-Mount Brackets" that have adhesive on the back. The pole then seats itself into the wall-mount brackets and is secured through a pin. I think this might work for some, but in my case the Airstream is not flat. What this means is if the base of the telescoping pole is flat, then it will not be able to insert/secure itself into the 2 wall-mount brackets. The design might work for some as long as it has a flat side that is a minimum of 4ft. I did test this out in a few different places over the course of 2 weeks. The first test did not provide a significant gain since I had 3-4 bars already. The new two tests were perfect. I had one bar before aiming the antenna and going to 4 bars...so, IT WORKS! Now, besides the install issue, I also found that the booster was incredibly hot as the previous review mentions. It was absolutely hot to the touch. I am trying a few different locations to see if it gets any better, but right now it's incredibly hot, and it's the only thing in that cabinet. I will reach out to weboost support regarding my issues and update my review based on that aspect of the experience.
