Customer Reviews for weBoost - Destination RV Cell Phone Signal Booster | Stationary Use | 5G & 4G LTE | All US & Canadian Carriers | FCC Approved - Gray
My wife and I both work remotely but we gotta have internet to do so. I was a bit hesitant in purchasing the WeBoost Destination RV because I wasn't sure if it would really improve the cell signal.
We took the Destination RV system along on a RV camping trip to the Angeles National Forest in SoCal where I initially had zero bars of Verizon coverage and a download speed of 1.5Mb/sec. My phone browser said that I had no internet and Facebook would not load.
Installation and set of of the Destination RV system was fairly easy and took about 30 min. The key to a good setup is making sure that the interior antenna is not in front of the external antenna (if it is, then the external antenna picks up the internal antenna signal and won't boost the cell signal).
Once we figured out the proper arrangement of the antennas, the Destination RV external antenna was raised to about 14 feet (just enough to clear the RV roof) and generally pointed towards the cell tower that my phone said that it was barely connecting to. Moments later, I had an immediate improvement to 2 bars 4LTE coverage and speeds of 10.5 Mb/sec. Internet went from an unusable 1.5 Mb/sec to being able to steam Netflix with the 10.5 Mb/sec speed.
We kept the Destination RV on for the entire weekend and the speeds never varied or dropped.
All I can say is that the Destination RV really works!
We hooked up our Destination RV booster today. We can receive signal for our phones now, but still are having the signal drop off in the evening. During the daytime we have increased our signal by 1 to 2 bars which is significant. Most of the time we would get 1 bar or less (even if it showed 1 bar) and lots of no signal.
Pretty nice!!! Does what we needed. Would like if the indoor antenna reached further. Any suggestions on an upgraded indoor antenna???
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are glad to hear that the weBoost is working, but sad to hear it is not working as well as anticipated! One thing to keep in mind is that the inside coverage the booster provides is based on the outside signal strength. If the signal is poor, then the booster might provide a decreased area of better signal. The external antenna location and the direction you aim it in is vital in getting the best results. Our Customer Support team is a great resource to provide steps for a successful installation. I'll leave our contact info below if you'd like to reach out.

Ok, where to start. I did a lot of research. My wife and I are not specific to RV traveling. But when I was researching and watching several folks use this and other product, what sold me was the higher db rating you can get with a “residential style” booster. I will have AT&T but may get T-Mobile Home internet. I needed multiple device AND high boost to hit the TV in the front, back and right outside of our 40’ RV. This WeBoost Destination seemed to make the best sense for us. I read manuals, watched videos and all the information on several websites. I learned that the outside directional antenna needs to be at least 20’ away and favoring the opposite direction from the indoor antenna. This set up allowed me to raise the antenna outside and mount the indoor antenna in the center of our RV to provide better service to all connected devices. Additionally, these folks have the extra mount brackets so I was able to put mounting brackets on all four sides of my RV In preparation for wherever we park. This allows me to put the collapsing pole in the front or back and on either side of the 5th wheel, keeping the indoor/outdoor antenna favoring AWAY from each other. After temp install, i was very impressed with the results. I went ahead and mounted the other three locations, bought enough RG6 to pull from each location into my basement of the 5th wheel and permanently brought up and go through my ceiling to mount the indoor antenna. This will allow me to do a quick search for the tower location, then lift the mast to ensure opposite direction and just plug it in then turn it on. I snapped. Couple pics of before on and after on for your info.

Second stint as a camp host for the National Park Service in Chaco Canyon, New Mexico. Campground area shows NO bars; no service at all. I was not optimistic, but after setup of the Destination RV, I plugged in the power and my phone immediately started pinging alerts. I double checked that I had the Green Light illuminating, then looked at my phone; it showed four bars of 4G. Calls, texts, internet, ALL were perfect. Completely happy with my purchase!

We live out in the country. Went from 4G Lite 1-2 bars to 5G 3-5 bars. -115db to -83db plenty of speed for what we need.
