I had to mail 8 hand made memory quilts that had button embellishments on them. They couldn't get wet or broken so these fit the bill and they were reasonably priced too!

The size is so tight that fitting two sheets of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock paper within the envelope is not easy at all. I got this to mail certificates to folks and it works but it takes a while to figure out how to strech the sides a bit before it will accept a normal sized sheet of paper. If the edges were 1/16 of an inch bigger this would be a much more useable product.

Sturdy Envelopes

I buy envelopes in bulk because I am in the travel business and I am constantly mailing travel documents which might be brochures eDocs or a bon voyage packet. The envelopes must be sturdy and I must be able to write on the front of them without a label and with a Sharpie-type pen. These envelopes do the trick and they are the perfect size for what I need. Staples has a variety of bubble wrap sizes for multiple purposes. This particular size is a bit smaller than the norm and is not found everywhere. I'm glad Staples sells them.

Perfect mailer for anything

I use these to mail everything from presentation DVD's to books not flexible booklets mind you but sharp cornered books. The bubble cushion is a very good protector and contributes to the overall strength of the envelope. I also like the peel and stick seal system. Just zip off the protector and seal it up with no extra tape needed. There is enough adhesive to provide a good seal even if the item you are shipping is not flat. Even if the overall size is bigger than what I need the extra area provides plenty of room for a large shipping label and even a full sized customs form. My post office loves to see them.
