Only Buy as a Last Resort

We've been buying these for years but it seems as if this past year the quality went downhill and we find that we are using 3 and 4 at a time to avoid food soaking through the plate and to avoid spilling food because the plates aren't sturdy enough. We are switching to a different brand and will no longer buy these.

Dixie is a good brand... Or so I thought when I purchased these plates. They are thinner than I'm used to and not quite sturdy enough to be used without some type of support. Price was about the only thing I was content with.
