[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to use several layers to get the assurance I would have using one layer of bubble wrap. Did not care for the texture too much. Would not feel confident using this on anything of real value. Prefer products that come in a wider format. Doubtful will use the entire roll. Will most likely use it as a lining or to fill space in box vs. around actual objects.

Good in theory - hard to do what its supposed too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to demo these as I was going to be moving right after I was supposed to receive this product. I tried to use this to protect glasses / plates / more fragile items, etc. My biggest issue was that the paper material would continually rip making it hard to make a true protective barrier... Unfortunately, I had to resort to bubble wrap cause I found this product too cumbersome to use. I think a V2 design with some form of adhesive / stronger paper would greatly improve the experience.

Great idea, a couple drawbacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very unique product for packing material instead of using bubble wrap. As the instructions stated, when you pull it the waffle cones do appear and it “puffs up” the material. The instructions also said no scissors were needed but I found that I was unable to rip it in a straight line by hand. It was very crooked and jagged and made it difficult to wrap when it needed to be to lined up. Also, I handled it a bit gingerly because I was afraid of paper cuts due to the design. I did not get any, but I didn’t wrap multiple items or use it for long. Just something to keep in mind. Due to the waffle design not sure how well tape would secure it long term to keep it from unwrapping from an item. Because it’s a different material and design than I’m used to wrapping with, I found it a bit more difficult to work with. I’m sure more use would work out the awkwardness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a free product to test out in exchange for my honest review from 3M. I was able to test the Scotch (TM) Cushion Lock (TM) Protective Wrap. To me it was a bit more work than ilike to put into a job such as wrapping a dish that I didn't want to get broken. Typically I'd use old news papers, paper towels, even old towels and rags. I didn't like having to cut off the amount of wrapping that I needed as it took more time to do so. It does say that you can rip off what you need but I found that harder to do when holding what I was wrapping so I just used scissors. I did however like the way this wrap expanded to create a cushion for the objects that I was wrapping up. Nothing broke upon transport. The box says proven to protect and I do agree with that. I think with a bit more patience on my end my experience may have went a little better however I wouldn't see myself buying this product in the future I would recommend giving it a try if you're say shipping breakable objects or moving.

Nice alternative to bubble wrap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Scotch Cushion Protection Wrap to help with my house move. It's easy to use after a couple of trial and errors. You need to expand the wrap to see the honeycomb in the material and then wrap your item in several layers to protect. I am using the wrap for all of my pictures once you've wrapped it place it in a box and continue wrapping no scissors are needed it does rip easily with a tug. I then placed the corners into the honeycomb to help secure the wrap. No need for tape either since it locks into place. I will continue using this on my glass wears since it adds cushioning. . One roll is 12 inches by 30 foot and goes along way.

An unexpected must for packing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im currently in the process of moving and stumbled upon this item. It was my first time using it and I am loving it! The material is very flexible so you can use it to wrap anything and even though its a harder paper it seems very protective. I haven't made my move yet so I'll see if anything breaks but so far it has been a very useful tool that I didn't know that I needed.
