Scotch Desktop Tape Dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Desktop Tape Dispenser for free from 3M to evaluate and I am very pleased with it. Not only does it look great on my desk but also the color matches my office. I particularly like the shaping of the dispenser and it looks so modern. Always buy Scotch Brand Tape for all my needs as it is a quality brand and holds up forever.

One of the Nicest Tape Dispensers I Have Ever Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Desktop Dispenser, C18, is a nicely designed tape dispenser that is a soft contemporary style that will blend with any decor and look nice. it grips the desk surface and doesn't slide when the tape is pulled out. The dispenser is designed so it slopes inward below the tape cutting blade so the cut portion of the tape won't "grab" the dispenser as it is cut off. I'm very pleased with the dispenser that I received it as a free sample for evaluation.

Awesome desktop tape dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. It's a great desktop dispenser! Love the clean white base. Looks cute on my desk. The weight is just right to keep it from sliding around when you pull off a piece of tape, and the padded bottom protects your desktop from scratches. Much better than trying to hold one of those small disposable plastic dispensers!

It is very sleek looking and a nice color of white. The weighted bottom is fantastic and stays put when you use the dispenser. If anyone is in the market for a good desktop dispenser do not hesitate to purchase this one.

Home Office Must Have

The tape dispenser is stable because of the non-skid base, not too heavy but weighty enough to be stable. It cuts the tape nicely. Although I would have preferred the lavender color I requested rather than mint, I would recommend this product for home office use.

Redesigned and still useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yesterday, January 4, 2022, I received the redesigned tape dispenser in Mint. The two-tone green color is attractive on my desk. The dispenser holds one roll of Scotch tape up to 3/4 inch wide. or about 1.9 cm. Incidentally, this is my favorite width of tape for most uses. You could also use 1/2 inch wide tape (about 1.3 cm), which I buy when my preferred width of tape is not available.
Since I no longer wrap many gifts, my primary use of this type of tape is in my crafts. I use very short pieces of tape to hold down my dies so they do not slip during the diecutting process, which could result in damaged die cuts and/or inefficient use of my expensive card stock. I also use this type of tape to seal envelopes when the envelope either has no adhesive provided or when the provided adhesive fails.
I can suggest two possible improvements for this tape dispenser.
#1. Provide a dust cover, preferably clear acrylic plastic or even just clear acetate. The transparency would allow me to assess whether or not the roll contains enough tape for my intended use, but would keep out the dirt and dust that accumulates during long periods of inactivity.
#2. Make a version of this dispenser that allows for three rolls of tape - 1 inch, 3/4 inch and 1/2 inch. This would allow me to have on hand my three most used tape sizes in one handy location.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tape dispenser. Rubber grips on the bottom are a nice feature. The weight of the dispenser keeps it where you put it when pulling tape off. My wife loves it for wrapping gifts, and she loves the design.

Sleek, Well Weighted Tape Dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new office needed an updated tape dispenser, this one does the job perfectly, it's sleek and a nice color and is still weighted well so it can easily be used one handed, which is one reason I hadn't changed out my old beat up boring black one. It does take up a little more space on my desk which, isn't a big issue for me, but as someone who dislikes clutter but also needs some tools in easy reach, I think I would prefer it to be slightly smaller, specifically the area behind the tape roll. But that isn't a deal breaker for me, so it will live on my desk next to my ancient black stapler (until I can find a suitable replacement) for a long time going through roll after roll of tape.
