Perfect Cut

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free sample of Scotch Desktop Tape Dispenser.
This new tape dispenser has white color, it looks fresh, clean and neat to me.
I use tape almost every day. I use it to put mailing labels on the envelops, sometimes to seal envelops, to seal coin wrappers after sorting out the coins from washer and dryers before I go to bank, to wrapper a gift, or to fix small holes in a plastic bag if I need to re-use the bag. So the Scotch Desktop Tape Dispenser is my every day tool to cut tape.
I love this desktop tape dispenser, especially with the tape that came with this tape dispenser. It is so easy to use and the weighted base allows me to use only one hand. Every time this high quality cutting blade gives a quick, clean, non skid cut, and the tape edges are even and neat. It makes my work quick and more enjoyable.
Besides using the tape that comes with the tape dispenser, I have 4 different brands of tapes at home. They are 2 sizes: 0.75 inch and 0.50 inch. I used all 4 tapes on this Scotch Desktop Tape Dispenser to see how they work. I found that size does not affect the cutting quality (the Scotch Desktop Tape Dispenser cutting blade width is 1.0 inch), but the tape material does. There was one kind of tape that was stretchable, which made uneven cuts. Besides the stretchable tape, I would strongly recommend the Scotch Desktop Tape Dispenser for daily use.

Basic, solid design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good product, solid and enough weight to stay put. Pretty basic tape dispenser, not a whole lot to say about it. Cutter is sharp and will cut the tape just fine. Color is basic white, looks fine, not much else to say.

Cute color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice color and good rubber grips on the bottom. So your holder won’t move when using it, which is nice cause the one I have now doesn’t grip. The color is super nice and would blend well with any desk colors.

Sleek and solid

All the times I have needed tape, the dispenser earns its name; it dispenses the tape and stays steady in its place, not moving or turning over. The cutter cuts the tape easily and cleanly. Being sleek, it doesn't take up a lot of space on the desk. I am very happy with it, no more of the flimsy, plastic, dollar store tape.

One handed operation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. After testing this product I found that packing or wrapping items became a simple task. Before, I had to ask someone to hold the package or items so that I could cut and tape them. Now I can hold them with one hand and tape them with the other hand.

Best Desktop Tape Dispenser EVER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a lot of these over the years and they've all been junk compared to this one. It's nice and heavy which allows you to dispense tape with only 1 hand. And the blade cuts the tape with one motion...no sliding.

Sleek Design and Easy to Use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product free from 3M. Love the modern look. Cuts the tape like a hot knife through butter! The mint green is a subtle pop of color for my desk. The rubber feet keep the dispenser in place so only one hand is needed to use.
