The sides are well reinforced so that part was good but when I went to pull the bag out of the wastebasket my fingers tore thru the area near the drawstring and I was not happy with that. They seemed to fit the wastebasket good and that made me happy. First time I ever used these and that was because they were out of Glad. An OK product but not as strong as I would like.
