I use these in my notebook where I use pen. These work smoothly and roll onto the paper nicely with good coverage. Sometimes I use tape over top of tape. This seems to handle that application well and doesn't pull up the original correction area. I like that these cases are clear. I find the colored tape cases to be distracting. The roller does make a faint clicking sound while rolling so if you find that annoying then this isn't the right product for you. I like the sound myself.
