Exactly what they say they are

Let's start by saying that these are exactly what they say they are...a 0.95 mil trash bag. I know that it took me a little bit to understand what those numbers meant but after some trial and error I finally figured it out. These are not supposed to be "heavy duty" trash bags no where in the description above does it say that they're heavy duty. You pay a considerable amount more for heavy duty trash bags than you do for these so people's complaints about them being weak are invalid; you get what you pay for people it's just that simple. These work great for what I use them for (nothing heavy or sharp/pokey). For anything heavy sharp or pokey I buy heavy duty bags.

Good Trash Bags

These bags don't break but don't cost an arm and a leg like the really thick ones. Just right in strength. When you can get them on sale they are the best deal out there. I only gave 4 stars because you need a coupon to get them at the best price.

not as strong as we were hoping for...

these garbage bags are working ok for us -- but we had hoped that they would be a little thicker than what they were. The garbage bags were a good value though and will do the job for us. the delivery was very quick. I enjoy the convienence of having some of our cleaning supplies delieverd right to our door! I also like - that when waiting for an order to be delivered from Staples - you can just print out the driver note and put it on your door so if you are not home the driver will still leave your package!

Can Liners - not trash bags

It's important when searching for large capacity trash bags to investigate the thickness - this was described as: "Strength: X-Heavy good for industrial waste including sharp heavy or wet objects; .95 mil thickness; Maximum puncture- and tear- resistance" These arrived in a box clearly marked 'Can Liners' - and are very flimsy.... I'm searching my home for some wet sharp heavy industrial waste objects to test if it truly does exhibit 'maximum puncture and tear resistance'. My guess is probably not..... but: as a can liner it fits - so I guess I'll be loading the entire trash can into my trunk the next time I go to the recycling center.... not a chance in the world that I'm gonna'try to lift ANY THING in these bags....
