these are very well built with good padding. They seal nicely but I still put tape to make sure it is completely sealed.

I needed this item to ship books and it was not good for that. The outside of the envelope was fragile and my nail kept piercing it. I cannot use them for this. These need to be for very lightweight item with no hard edges.

Five shipments to me of the same book from 5 different vendors- -each using a different type of bubble mailer pack of the same dimensions as the Staples mailers- - arrived unscathed. While I prepared shipment of each book as a gift employing the Staples mailers it became evident the mailer paper was subject to tearing. A heavier paper should be used to ensure safe passage of the contents through the postal system.
