It's large enough to insert a CD wrapped in bubble wrap which is a good thing in my opinion because I think the cushioning in the envelope itself feels thin. Our local postal service has discouraged me from thinking that packages are robust enough to arrive safely without extra protection. Otherwise it is as described.

The envelopes are great but the glue under the seal strip is too loose and plentiful and got on my dining room table. I had to work for 20 minutes to get it off the beautiful wood since I don’t use heavy products on it. I moved to the quartz kitchen counter to finish 3 more and some got on quartz but much easier to get off. Finally I just sealed them on a piece of paper.
