I need to mail CDs to friends and saw these. I was a little leary at first because they seemed flimsy and bendable but once the CD is inside it's pretty rigid. No complaints of broken CDs yet from recepients. The one downside is the shape. Because it is square and thick it does not qualify as even a "large letter" by USPS standards so you will pay the 1st class parcel rate of $2.07 for the first 3 ozs as opposed to about $.83 for an oversize letter. You need to factor that into your overall cost analysis. I will probably be looking for another CD shipping solution once these run out.

They're too expensive to mail. The small ones the size of a DVD or CD protect just as well and are cheaper to mail. Not recommended.

Great as intended for CDs or DVD-Rs. But also serves well for other small items that fit. I sell a lot of small items online and I have used these for pins pocket books and note pads to many different items to list all. I would recommend that if you are using prepaid postage put on the mailer before stuffing it. It works easier that way with less chance of breaking a bubble which can happen. A bit pricey at Staples rather than bulk from other sources but if you only need a few mailers this is the way to go.
